Terms and Conditions

Definition of terms.

Brand new these watches are sourced from authorised dealers and supplied with the manufacturer's international warranty and all associated packaging, instruction manuals and paperwork.

Pre-owned these watches have previously been owned. All âpre-owned watches have been given a full service prior to sale and carry a minimum of 1-year âparts & labour' warranty.

Payment - To secure your watch we will need a deposit equal to no less than 20% of the total cost of the watch. Once the watch is ready to be despatched we will contact you to take the final balance. Watches will not be despatched until the final balance has been paid.

Different ways to pay:

Debit card - No surcharge.

Credit card - There is a non-refundable surcharge of 2% on all credit card transactions. The watch must be despatched to the billing address of the card.

Cash - In accordance with money laundering regulations, we can accept cash payment up to and not exceeding £7000.00. All notes will be authenticated on the premises.

Cheque - Payable to Official Trading Ltd. Funds must clear before the watch is released.

Bankers Draft - Payable to Official Trading Ltd. Our bank will authenticate all drafts before the watch is released.

Bank transfer - Please contact us for our bank account details.

Order Process - Offline One of our sales team will explain the order process to you, which includes filling in a purchase order form and faxing it back to us via a secure fax line. This is essential for security and insurance purposes. Orders received back by 2pm will be given priority for next day delivery dependant upon satisfactory security checks.

Personal information - To process any card payments we need the following information:

Cardholder's name.

Cardholder's date of birth.

Type of card.

Card number.

Card expiry date.

Card issue date.

The full billing address of your card.

The last three digits from the code on the back of your card.

Phone number

Email address

For credit card transactions over £2500 we require a photocopy of driving license, passport, bank statement, or utility bill.

We process all orders in line with Merchant Services Guidelines for Fraud Prevention.

Delivery - If a watch is in stock we will try to post the watch on the day of order. Where this is not possible we will inform the customer and give an indication of when the item will be delivered. If the watch is not in stock we aim to fulfil every order within 7-10 working days. If that is not possible we will notify you and make every effort to deliver your watch within a reasonable time. If you are ordering an item for delivery on or before a specific date you must notify us of your requirements by some durable means, before placing your order.All deliveries are made using the Royal Mail's 'Special Delivery' service. Each watch travels through a secure network, which is separate from the regular post. The progress of this delivery is monitored at every stage via a bar-code tracking system. Accordingly the Royal Mail guarantee that your item will arrive between 9.00am and 13.00pm on the next working day. All our deliveries are insured independently for loss or damage. All delivery times are estimations.

Delivery Costs - Delivery to any location within the UK is £10.00. For deliveries outside the UK the cost will vary according to the weight and destination of the parcel.

Return Postage The customer is liable for all return postage costs unless an official watches representative agrees this in some durable form.

Collection Watches can be collected by prior arrangement from our offices without an appointment, watches will not be available for collection. The watches are held in a bank vault and need to be delivered to the office for collection. This will not happen without an appointment

For your security delivery can only be made to the cardholders address.

Returns policy.

Watches held in stock - If you have ordered a stock item you can return it within 7 working days of receiving it. You will be refunded on condition that the watch is returned with all associated items and in the same condition that the watch was supplied in. It will be inspected on arrival and if it's found to have been marked there will be an additional charge for any refurbishment that is necessary to return the watch to its original condition.This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Watches Ordered/altered - to customer's specification (Defined as those not held in stock). Where a watch has to be ordered in response to a customer order, the authorised dealer will register the watch to the customer. This represents an exemption to the distance selling regulations. The 7-day cooling off period does not apply. You are entitled to return the item for refund in the following circumstances. If the item ordered is not the item delivered. The items unique model number and its description as listed on your order confirmation will be used to confirm the item ordered. If the item is faulty or damaged in any way.If the watch does not fall in to one of the above categories there may be a charge should you wish to return the watch. These cases will be assessed on an individual basis and the charge is made at our discretion. If the watch is found to have been marked there will also be a charge for any refurbishment that is necessary to return the watch to its original condition.

Order cancellation - Watches altered to customer specification's (those not held in stock).If you wish to cancel your order you should notify us by some durable form without delay. We will acknowledge your intention to cancel within 2 working days. Once your watch has been altered to you specification (see above) you may become liable for a cancellation fee. Any cancellation fee will be calculated on an individual basis. The costs will reflect the potential losses incurred by official trading ltd in selling the watch as a pre-owned item. Each case will be assessed individually.

Guarantee - We offer a seven-day money back guarantee on every pre-owned Watch that we send out mail order unless otherwise stated. All New and Pre-owned watches come with a 6-month guarantee from Official trading Ltd unless stated otherwise. Vintage watches come with a 6-month guarantee. Please note that the purchaser is liable for all delivery/shipping costs incurred. Delivery is non-refundable. Our Warranty covers Watch Batteries, Movements and watches with intermediate faults. We do not cover accidental damage or loss.

Warranty coverage - Manufacturer's warranty. All brand new watches are supplied with the manufacturer's International warranty. In the exceptional case that a brand new watch is not supplied with the manufacturer's international warranty this will be made clear at the point of sale.

Pricing Information and Web Content - All of the information in regard to watches on our site, such as retail prices, Model No's etc is correct to the best of our knowledge. Should you notice that anything is incorrect please contact us to let us know so we can put it right. These details are updated regularly but are subject to change without notification. Our pricing system is based on the manufacturer's recommended retail price. As manufacturers reserve the right to alter the RRP products without notice so we must also reserve that right. If the price of a watch changes the customer will be informed and will not be obliged to proceed with the order.

Complaints - If you have reason to complain about our service then please call our Sales Team on 020 8882 1523 and we will endeavour to help you and sort out any grievances you have to your satisfaction as quickly as possible.

Privacy Policy - We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order securely and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. Should you receive any mail from us that you have not requested please email us with the email title "unsubscribe" and you will receive no further correspondence from us. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

The personal information, which we hold, will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy. If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.
