WATCH REPAIR SERVICEOur team of highly trained and experienced watchmakers undertakes all repairs. We believe in high quality service. All watches for services are completely disassembled, cleaned, oiled, and timed using state of the art equipment. Cases are refinished, polished, cleaned, and most plastic crystals are replaced. PLEASE FEEL COMFORTABLE TO EITHER Bring your watch in to our head office, where we will provide an on the spot assessment. When you bring your watch into our boutique you will be met by one of our knowledgeable Customer Service Staff, who will give you an on the spot assessment and a quotation for the service/repair. Our Internet watch repair service follows the following procedures. Download the Watch Repair Form | Download the Watch Service Form 1. When we receive your watch, we will examine it and confirm the exact repair cost by email/phone. We will only undertake the repair, once you have confirmed that you accept the price, otherwise your watch will be returned to you, your only responsibility would be for the cost of shipping the watch back to you. Once a payment of £10 is made to cover postage & packing. 2. For servicing and most other repairs we offer a 1-6 weeks turn around. Depending on material availability, vintage pieces may take longer. Please note that if your watch requires manufacturers parts, your repair may take longer. 3. We will contact you when your watch is ready. 4. We will return the watch to you.
All prices include a free polish of metal bracelets. WARRANTY All work is fully guaranteed and insured. All watches that we service carry a one-year warranty on work performed. Parts subject to normal wear such as crystals, straps, etc. are not covered under warranty, neither is damage as a result of abuse. PARTS These prices do not include: new case parts, movement parts or refurbishment of case and bracelet. We have many sources of hard-to-find materials for watches that we service. We also can fabricate parts if needed. However, we are not a material supplier, therefore we do not sell parts to the public. Should any new part be required, please note that we shall retain the used part. Due to the construction of the case, watches that originally came with plastic crystals cannot be retrofitted with modern sapphire crystals. WATER RESISTANT We do not recommend taking any vintage watch near water. For modern watches that are water resistant in design, we use testing equipment to ensure reliability. We recommend having the water resistance of your divers watch checked once a year if you use it for swimming or diving. We do not guarantee water resistance on Vintage watches. PAYMENT Please note that we ask for payment before proceeding with repairs/servicing, we can accept payment via cheque, made payable to Official Trading Ltd or over the phone via Credit or Debit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, bank checks, & money orders. Personal checks must wait to clear the bank. All Prices are plus VAT We will respond to all web enquiries within 24 hours. |
